38"-24"-37"....you and me hun we're a match made in Heaven. I'd like to kiss you where some brothers won't. I'd like to tell you things some brothers don't. - Bonita Applebum, A Tribe Called Quest Why am I so passionate about breast deodorant? Well I'm glad you asked. If you are a female with an upbringing similar to mine then you probably had similar puberty woes. I can remember after developing breast and still being very physically active, I was searching for a solution for being sweaty in that area. I asked my cousins what they did for this problem and they told me to use baby powder, or tissue or even worse, commercial deodorant. So for the longest, that was my solution, which really wasn't much of a solution at all. You see, I'm a sweater, I get it honest from my father. So while my cousins did give me a solution it still left me very self-conscious. I remember baby powder caking up under my breast or tissue falling out of my bras and still being smelly, it was not a pretty site. Then let's not discuss the residue left from commercial deodorants. What's worse is no one wanted to talk about this issue. It was like some unspoken female dilemma that no one acknowledged they had, kinda like chin hairs. Oh, my bad, I'm not supposed to mention that either. Fast forward to adulthood when my breast grew yet again, I was not particularly happy about this at all; although I never received any complaints from the opposite sex. As natural and organic products became more accessible the only thing I found that helped me in my breast area was a natural deodorant I found online that included baking soda in the ingredients. Words cannot express how frustrated I was with the fact that this product worked but kept burning my skin, leaving it discolored and irritated. Talk about self-conscious, I was beginning to get completely discouraged, I was in a never ending cycle of healing the skin under my breast while being smelly and using this deodorant for a couple of days until the irritation started again. Even when I first began making my own deodorant I was going through this same cycle because I was also using baking soda. It wasn't until I discovered Magnesium Hydroxide that I was able to finally put an end to this cycle. Personally, I do believe I sweat more than the average female and I also live in the south where the summers are very hot so I have put this deodorant to the test. I believe in everything I make and I use all of my products everyday, so I know they work and I am extremely proud of each of them.
The fact of the matter is, unless you have an exceptional alkaline diet that you strictly adhere to, you will run into this problem if your bra size is B cup or larger. I hope to help the awkward teenager who is growing into her body, the female athlete who strenuously works out, the heavy chested female who deals with constant skin to skin friction and any woman who has ever had a smelly sports bra or any bra or any sweaty skin fold or crevice. That is my passion, to change self-consciousness to self-confidence and love.

I'm different, yeah I'm different. Pull up to the scene with my ceiling missing. - I'm Different, 2 Chainz I recently launched Madison Lauren deodorant. This product is available in two options: body deodorant and breast deodorant. So what's the difference? Is there a difference? Well I'm glad you asked. Why yes, there is. The short answer is, the body deodorant is stronger than the breast deodorant. Breast deodorant is designed for sensitive skin, specifically the areas under and between a woman's breast. The more detailed answer starts with a little background information. You see I am a huge advocate for healthcare. So much so that once upon a time I studied for and took the MCAT with hopes of becoming a Medical Doctor. Therefore, sickness and ailments bother me so much that I constantly research the root causes and how to naturally cure diseases. You see I am in awe of the human body and it's ability to heal itself and remain in homeostasis. I believe if we give our bodies the right fuel and products it can be at peak performance. The opposite holds true if we give our bodies the wrong fuel and products, specifically man-made items. One particular disease that concerns me is breast cancer. I would like to think that it is no secret that anti-perspirant deodorants are the leading cause of breast cancer. Knowing this was enough to put me on the hunt for a natural deodorant. Well I found many and none of them worked. I was always expiring before the end of the day and smelling like a little musty child. That's understandable when you are child but unacceptable when you are an adult, especially an adult woman. That is until I found a natural deodorant that works. Not only did this deodorant work but it smelled great. But there was one problem. I have sensitive skin so it always left me with discolored armpits because it caused a burning reaction that went from dark skin to peeling skin. I never wore sleeveless shirts or dresses while using this deodorant. The ingredient that caused this reaction was baking soda or more sophisticated natural deodorants list it as sodium bicarbonate. Even when I began making my own natural deodorant I was still forced to use baking soda until I found an effective alternative, magnesium hydroxide.
Magnesium hydroxide has been a God-send, it is mild and effective. So again, what is the difference between the breast and body deodorant? The breast deodorant uses magnesium hydroxide as the main ingredient. The body deodorant uses magnesium hydroxide and the miracle powder zinc oxide. Let me just say, if you think burnt armpits are bad, let's not even discuss burning the skin under and between your breasts. We will get into how I came to creating breast deodorant on another post. Until then, just note that the body deodorant was created for use under the armpits or between your toes, or wherever you may need a strong dose of deodorant. The breast deodorant is for the more tender parts. |
